At 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, Alexa Stevermer, a former Valley High School standout, helped the Luther Norse secure a 9-6 win over the Webster Gorloks in NCAA Division III softball action.
St. Josephs Academy hosted the teams for their second meeting of the season. In the prior matchup on Saturday, March 7, the Norse defeated the Gorloks 9-0.
Stevermer pitched seven innings, allowing four earned runs, walking four and striking out seven.
The Norse are set to play again at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, against the Dubuque Spartans at UD Softball Field.
