Auburn junior Anna Davis will participate in her fifth Augusta National Women’s Amateur starting Wednesday and Thursday at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Georgia, according to a Mar. 31 announcement. If she advances past the 36-hole cut, Davis will compete in the final round on Saturday at Augusta National Golf Club.

Davis’s participation is significant as she continues to build on a successful collegiate golf career. She has achieved two wins this season—at the Tar Heel Invitational and The Nanea Invitational—and now ties for the most career collegiate wins in Auburn program history with five victories.

Last season, Davis earned WGCA Second Team All-America, Golfweek Second Team All-America, and First Team All-SEC honors. She set a program record for lowest season scoring average at 70.81 during the 2024-25 campaign and secured two individual titles at the Illini Invitational at Medinah and Charles Schwab Collegiate.

Davis qualified for this year’s tournament through an exemption given to previous champions within five years of their win. She claimed victory in the event as a 16-year-old in 2022 by shooting a total score of one-under-par (215), including a three-under-par final round (69) to finish one stroke ahead of Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone. In last year’s competition, she finished tied for eleventh with a four-under-par total (212).

The tournament begins with two rounds featuring a field of 72 amateur players; after these rounds, only the top thirty competitors plus ties will advance to Saturday’s final round following an official practice day Friday. Should she remain an amateur and win again, Davis would earn invitations to major championships such as the U.S. Women’s Open and AIG Women’s Open over the next year.

Golf Channel will broadcast live coverage of Wednesday’s and Thursday’s rounds from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., while NBC is scheduled to air three hours of Saturday’s final beginning at 11:00 a.m., with live scoring available online.
