Jonathan Jones recorded a season-high in tackles and notched his first sack since 2018 during the NFL’s first-ever game in Madrid, Spain. Jones finished with six tackles, including four solo stops and a sack, helping force a Dolphins three-and-out and setting up a Washington Commanders field goal before halftime. He also earned an 83.8 PFF pass rush grade, ranking second among NFL cornerbacks for the week.
Daniel Carlson contributed significantly for the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys by making all three of his field goal attempts from distances of 45, 37, and 35 yards. He also converted his only extra point attempt. Carlson now has 218 career field goals, leading all NFL kickers since entering the league in 2018. He ranks second in Raiders history with 880 points and is one of just fifteen kickers to surpass 800 points within their first eight seasons.
Jamien Sherwood continued to lead the New York Jets’ defense with eight total tackles—four of them solo—in their Thursday night matchup versus the Patriots. After finishing last season as the league leader in solo tackles (98) and tying for third overall (158), Sherwood remains productive this year with 89 total tackles (tied for eleventh) and forty-three solo stops (nineteenth) through eleven weeks. His performance included an 83.3 PFF tackling grade for the game and an 84.3 run defense grade that places him tenth among all players this season.
