Auburn University and the Southeastern Conference have released the 2026 football schedule, with Auburn set to host six home games at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers will face Southern Miss on September 12, which will be the first home game for new head coach Alex Golesh. Other home opponents include Florida on September 19, Vanderbilt on September 26, LSU on October 24, Arkansas on November 7, and Samford on November 21.

The matchup against Florida marks the Gators’ first visit to Auburn since 2011. Auburn will begin its season against Baylor in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as part of the Aflac Kickoff Game on September 5.

Road games in SEC play are scheduled at Tennessee (October 3), Georgia (October 17), Ole Miss (October 31), Mississippi State (November 14), and Alabama (November 28). This season marks a change in SEC scheduling format, as each program will now play nine league games for the first time. Teams are required to play three annual opponents while rotating their other conference matchups.

Additionally, every school must schedule at least one non-conference game each year against an opponent from either the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 or Notre Dame. Over a four-year period, each team is set to play every other SEC program both home and away.

The regular season concludes with the SEC Championship Game scheduled for December 5, broadcast live on ABC.

Future non-conference games have also been confirmed: In upcoming seasons through at least 2032, Auburn will host or travel to face teams including MTSU, Austin Peay, Notre Dame, Georgia Southern, North Alabama, Miami (Fla.), Jacksonville State, West Georgia and Troy. A previously planned matchup with Missouri State in 2027 has been canceled.

Game times and television details for the upcoming season will be announced later.

“A new era of Auburn Football is here. Lock in your seats at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the 2026 season and be part of the excitement under head coach Alex Golesh.
