Auburn University’s diving team, led by head coach John Fox, is preparing to compete at the Zone B Diving Championships in Athens, Georgia. The event will take place from March 8 to 11 at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

The competition starts on Sunday, March 8, with the women’s 1-meter event scheduled for 11:15 a.m. CT. The meet will be available for viewing through SEC Network Plus and live results can be found on DiveMeets.com.

All nine divers on Auburn’s roster have met the qualifying standards this season, allowing them to participate in the championships. The team includes Juliette Landi, Emily Hallifax, Maria Faoro, Kyleigh Kidd, Chloe Brothers, Ethan Swart, Talan Blackmon, Ben Wilson and Tsvetomir Ereminov.

During the recent SEC Championships, both Juliette Landi and Ethan Swart achieved scores that placed them among the top 10 performers in Auburn program history. Landi scored 351.65 on the 3-meter springboard as a freshman to move into fifth place all-time for Auburn. Swart posted a score of 402.50 on the same apparatus as a sophomore to reach seventh place.

Coach John Fox’s group had five championship finalists, ten consolation finalists and five C finalists during that week.

Sophomore Chloe Brothers reached the championship finals in two events: the women’s 1-meter and platform competitions.

The number of qualifying spots for each discipline has been announced: For women’s events there are 11 spots in the 1-meter, nine in the 3-meter and seven in platform; for men’s events there are eight spots in the 1-meter, six in the 3-meter and seven in platform.

Divers who qualify as noted can also enter other events at these championships if they finished among the top twelve at this zone meet and have achieved a qualifying score prior to NCAA Championships.

The full schedule spans four days with separate sessions for preliminaries and finals across all disciplines for both men and women.
