Auburn gymnastics rises to No.15 ahead of matchup with Oklahoma

The Auburn gymnastics team has advanced to No. 15 in the latest RoadToNationals.com rankings, following an improved National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 196.517. The team achieved a score of 197.250 at their most recent home meet, contributing to their rise in the standings.

Oklahoma continues to lead the national rankings with a 197.938 NQS. LSU holds second place with a 197.735 NQS, and Alabama is third at 197.570 NQS. Florida and UCLA round out the top five, maintaining their positions from previous weeks.

Other Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams remain prominent in the top 25, including Georgia at No. 6, Missouri at No. 7, Arkansas at No. 8, and Kentucky at No. 23.

Auburn’s vault and beam squads are both ranked No. 12 nationally, with NQS scores of 49.179 and 49.229 respectively. The floor team remains at No. 16 with a score of 49.233.

Individually, junior Julianne Huff is tied for No. 18 nationally in the all-around category with a NQS of 39.295.

Sophomore Marissa Neal is tied for No. 11 on beam with a score of 9.895, while junior Alex Irvine is tied for No. 25 on the same apparatus with a score of 9.875.

On vault, Huff and freshman Mia Leverton are both tied for No. 33 this week with matching NQS scores of 9.850.

Auburn will compete against top-ranked Oklahoma in Norman this Friday, February 27, at 6:45 p.m CT in a meet that will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Irvine and Huff lead Auburn gymnastics to 196.7 on Senior Night against Missouri
