The Auburn men’s swimming and diving team will compete in the 2026 NCAA Championships from March 25 to 28 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, according to a March 24 announcement. The event follows a top-25 finish by the Auburn women’s team at the same venue last week.
The championships will be streamed live on ESPN Plus, with live results available through Meet Mobile. Head coach Ryan Wochomurka said his team is ready to begin their campaign on Wednesday with the 200 medley relay.
Several athletes have qualified for individual events. Uros Zivanovic, who transferred from Georgia Tech, enters as one of the most experienced swimmers on the roster. Last season, he finished 34th in the 100 breaststroke and contributed to a relay team’s All-American Honorable Mention performance. This year, Zivanovic’s time of 51.10 seconds in the 100 breaststroke ranks as the eleventh fastest nationally and is second-fastest in Auburn program history.
Three rookies—Maston Ballew, Daniel Krichevsky, and Abdalla Nasr—will make their first NCAA appearances. Ballew narrowly missed setting a school record in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:52.10 and enters seeded twenty-first. Krichevsky has performed strongly throughout the season; his times place him among Auburn’s top performers historically in both freestyle events. Nasr is seeded twenty-second in both butterfly distances and holds top-three spots among school performers this year.
In diving events, Ethan Swart and Tsvetomir Ereminov will represent Auburn under coach John Fox for a second consecutive year at NCAAs. Swart recently became seventh all-time for Auburn on three-meter springboard at SEC Championships while Ereminov secured his spot after an impressive performance at Zone B Championships.
Relay alternates Luke Bedsole, Sohib Khaled, Kalle Makinen, and Warner Russ will also travel with the team. Makinen brings additional experience as he makes his fourth appearance at NCAA Championships.
