Auburn University’s men’s tennis team is set to start its 2026 season with a doubleheader against Bellarmine on Saturday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn. The matches are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. CT, and the first fans to arrive will receive posters signed by the team while supplies last.

Head coach Bobby Reynolds commented on the team’s preparations: “What we’re really looking for on Saturday is to get a lot of the guys some matches. Shake off the rust, shake off the Christmas and holiday break and ultimately gear up toward that Liberty match the following weekend.”

Last season, Auburn achieved a 20-11 record overall, including a strong home performance with a 13-1 record. The team reached the second round of the NCAA Championship for the second year in a row.

The current roster includes six returning players such as Billy Blaydes and Hamza Nasridinov, along with three newcomers including Alan Bojarski and Manel Lazaro. Nasridinov recently completed an impressive fall season with a 14-2 singles record in collegiate events, qualified for his first NCAA Singles Championship where he advanced to the round of 32, and ended ranked No. 40 nationally in singles by ITA.

Bellarmine finished last season with a 7-12 overall record and went 3-5 in ASUN conference play. This weekend’s matchup will be the first time Auburn faces Bellarmine.

Admission to both matches at Yarbrough Tennis Center is free. Fans can access live video streams and live scoring through AuburnTigers.com, where additional event information is also available (https://www.auburntigers.com/MatchDay).
