Auburn softball will host Missouri for a three-game conference series as MalveauxMania returns to Jane B. Moore Field, the team announced on Mar. 26.

The event, named after co-head coach Chris Malveaux, is set to bring special promotions and activities for fans during all three games of the series. The matchup holds significance as both teams look to improve their standings in Southeastern Conference play.

“We’re pretty avid WWE fans,” said co-head coach Chris Malveaux. “Our external staff did a great job last year promoting it and setting up the layout. It’s a little bit of a taste of the environment, music and intros of a WWE event. It’s my favorite promotion of the entire year. It’s going to be a blast.” The games are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Fans attending can expect several activities including a sumo wrestling tournament with prizes, free t-shirts on Friday while supplies last, an autograph session on Saturday, and Sunday Runday where children can run the bases after the game. All games will be broadcast on SEC Network+ with radio coverage provided by WEGL 91.1 and streaming options available through Auburn’s website and social media platforms.

Malveaux said about Missouri: “Missouri is going to be a very hard-nose teams… Pitching and defense are going to be a very big staple for them… Their record is a little misleading… They’ve played an incredibly tough schedule, and they can beat anyone.” Auburn enters the weekend with strong performances from players like McKaela Walker, Ma’Nia Womack, Kylie Shaw, and Ella Harrison who have contributed significantly in offense and pitching statistics this season.

Missouri recently earned its first conference win against No. 4 Alabama but has seen close losses in league play so far this season.
