Auburn University sophomores Chris Rembert, Chase Fralick, and Bub Terrell have been named to the Preseason All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) baseball teams. The selections were made by the league’s head baseball coaches.

Rembert was chosen as a first-team second baseman. Fralick received second-team honors as a catcher, while Terrell was named to the second team as an outfielder. All three players had previously earned spots on the 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team after combining for a .327 batting average, 48 doubles, 19 home runs, and 128 runs batted in during their first season with Auburn. Their performances contributed to Auburn reaching its first home super regional in program history.

Auburn was also picked by SEC coaches to finish fifth in the conference this season. This is the highest predicted finish for Auburn since at least 2005.

Rembert returns as Auburn’s leading hitter after posting a .344 average with 14 doubles, 10 home runs, and 46 RBI last year. He led the league with a .485 on-base percentage in conference games and ranked third with a .376 batting average. “He went on to become Auburn’s first freshman to earn first or second team All-SEC honors since 2008 and was named First Team Freshman All-America by Baseball America, D1 Baseball and NCBWA.” Rembert has also been recognized as Preseason First Team All-America by several outlets.

Fralick is coming off a freshman campaign where he hit .335 with 17 doubles and 41 RBI while starting behind the plate in 48 games. In SEC play, his batting average increased to .343—seventh best in the league—and he tied for the team lead with eight doubles. Defensively, he maintained a .991 fielding percentage and caught eight attempted base stealers. “The Peachtree City, Georgia, native earned First Team Freshman All-America honors from Baseball America, D1 Baseball and Perfect Game.” Fralick was also recently added to the Buster Posey Award Preseason Watch List.

Terrell finished his freshman year hitting .300 over more than 50 starts with 61 hits in 203 at-bats along with matching Fralick’s totals of 17 doubles and 41 RBI. He was named MVP of the Auburn Regional after going eight-for-eleven at bat over three wins during regionals. Terrell committed just one error in left field across 74 chances last season.

The Tigers will begin their upcoming season with a three-game series against Youngstown State from February 13–15 at Plainsman Park.
