Auburn University’s swimming and diving teams are set to compete against Alabama in their final dual meet of the 2025-26 season. The event will take place on Friday, January 30 at 3 p.m. CT at the Alabama Aquatic Center and Don Gambril Olympic Pool in Tuscaloosa. Fans can watch the meet live on SEC Network Plus.

Head coach Ryan Wochomurka leads the Tigers as they come off a recent meet against Florida. In national rankings, Auburn’s men’s team is positioned at No. 15 in the latest CSCAA Coaches Poll, while the women’s team holds the No. 17 spot. Their opponents, Alabama, have their men’s team ranked 16th and women ranked 14th.

Wochomurka’s tenure has seen Auburn’s men’s team achieve a perfect 4-0 record against Alabama, with the women’s team splitting results at 2-2.

The roster includes both experienced athletes and newcomers contributing to Auburn’s depth as postseason competitions approach next month.

Senior swimmers Elizaveta Klevanovich and Danny Schmidt have achieved notable times this season. Klevanovich recorded a time of 21.66 seconds in the 50 freestyle, ranking her as the fourth-fastest performer in program history and placing her at No. 13 nationally for that event. Schmidt owns Auburn’s school record in the 200 butterfly and currently holds the nation’s 18th-fastest time in the 200 individual medley with a mark of 1:43.39.

Freshmen Daniel Krichevsky (200 freestyle), Ivan Tarasov (100 backstroke), and Abdalla Nasr (200 butterfly) have also posted top-20 times nationally this season.

Overall, Auburn athletes have met NCAA qualifying standards in 28 events so far this year and achieved 18 performances that rank among the top ten in program history ahead of Friday’s competition.

In diving, every member of John Fox’s squad has secured at least one qualifying score for Zones meets this season. Freshman Juliette Landi recently led Auburn divers against Florida by finishing second on the one-meter board with a score of 293.10 and winning her second three-meter event of the year with a score of 320.93.

After facing Alabama, Auburn will return to James E. Martin Aquatic Center for the First Chance Invitational on February 6-7 before heading to Knoxville for the SEC Championships scheduled from February 16-21.
