This game is significant as it leaves Auburn with only six remaining home games out of its final 18 regular-season contests. The team is coming off its fourteenth regular-season home series win in the last fifteen attempts since the end of the 2024 season.
Junior left-handed pitcher Griffin Graves is set to make his first career start for Auburn after debuting earlier in the season. Alabama State enters with an overall record of 18-16 and an eight-win tally in conference play after going unbeaten last week against South Alabama and Alabama A&M. Miguel Oropeza leads Alabama State offensively across most statistical categories while their pitching staff has registered a collective ERA of 6.54 through nearly three hundred innings pitched.
