Auburn University’s women’s basketball team will play its final home game of the 2025-26 season on Thursday, hosting No. 16 Kentucky at Neville Arena. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT, with doors opening an hour earlier.

The event will also serve as Senior Night for Auburn, honoring five seniors—Angena Belloso, Kaitlyn Duhon, Ja’Mia Harris, A’riel Jackson, and Mya Petticord—in a ceremony set to start around 5:40 p.m. In addition to recognizing its seniors, Auburn will hold its Play4Kay Pink Game to promote breast cancer awareness and encourage support for survivors and research efforts.

Tickets are available in advance through AUBTix.com or the Auburn Athletics app. Tickets can also be purchased at the arena ticket office on game day. Members of Aubie’s Kids Club receive free admission to home women’s basketball games.

Broadcast coverage includes radio commentary by Brit Bowen and Larry DiChiara on ESPN 106.7 FM starting at 5:45 p.m., with streaming available via AuburnTigers.com and the Auburn Athletics app. SEC Network+ will televise the game with Lyn Rollins and JJ Jackson providing commentary.

In their previous outing, Auburn fell to No. 23 Georgia by a score of 74-52 at Neville Arena. Ja’Mia Harris and Khady Leye combined for 29 points on efficient shooting, but Georgia scored 18 consecutive points in the first half to take control of the contest. Leye led with 16 points while Harris contributed three of Auburn’s four three-pointers and added 13 points overall.

A win against Kentucky would secure a .500 regular season record for Auburn, mark their third victory over Kentucky in four games, represent their second top-25 win this season, and surpass last year’s SEC win total.

This matchup marks the 57th meeting between Auburn and Kentucky since their series began in 1980; both teams have won 28 times each in previous contests. At home in Auburn, they are tied at twelve wins apiece.

The last time these teams met was January 12 in Lexington when then-No.15 Kentucky defeated Auburn 80-61 behind strong performances from Mar’Shaun Bostic (18 points) and DeYona Gaston (23 points). Kentucky shot over fifty percent from the field while limiting Auburn to under thirty-five percent shooting.

Kentucky enters Thursday’s contest with a record of 20-8 overall (7-7 SEC), ranked No.16 in the AP Top 25 poll and No.18 by coaches. The Wildcats average more than seventy-six points per game while allowing just under sixty per contest. They lead the SEC—and rank second nationally—in blocked shots per game (6.8) and make nearly nine three-pointers per outing (third in SEC). Clara Strack leads Kentucky with averages of sixteen-and-a-half points and ten-point-four rebounds per game; Tonie Morgan leads all NCAA players with eight-and-a-half assists per contest.

Auburn holds a record of fourteen wins and fourteen losses this season (3-11 SEC), including conference victories over Florida, Alabama, and Missouri. Freshman Harissoum Coulibaly has been leading the Tigers offensively with an average of ten-point-five points per game since moving into the starting lineup during most SEC matchups; she was named SEC Freshman of the Week on December 23 after two strong performances against MTSU and Alcorn State.

Redshirt junior Kaitlyn Duhon averages ten points per game for Auburn while ranking among national leaders in steals—her ninety-nine steals so far this season place her second among all SEC players as of February twenty-third—and sophomore Khady Leye contributes nine points along with nearly five rebounds each outing.

Other key contributors include Ja’Mia Harris (notable scoring performances against Florida), senior transfer Mya Petticord (game-winning shot versus Rutgers), senior guard A’riel Jackson (career-highs against Oklahoma), sophomore Syriah Daniels (impactful defensive plays late against Alabama), freshman Sania Richardson (team leader in assists during conference play), redshirt freshman Arek Angui (first career double-double versus Mississippi Valley State), senior Angena Belloso (season-high scoring against Oregon), and junior college transfer Clara Koulibaly (top rebounding performance versus LSU).

Following Thursday’s home finale, Auburn will close out its regular season on Sunday March first at Arkansas’ Bud Walton Arena.
