The Southeastern Louisiana Lions, featuring former Phenix City Central High School standout Brody Capps, secured a 15-5 win against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in an NCAA Division I baseball game held Tuesday, March 3, at 6 p.m.

Lou St. Amant Field hosted the matchup, marking the teams’ first meeting this season.

Capps went three for three at the plate, tallying three runs and three RBIs.

The Lions are set to face Louisiana-Monroe again at Lou St. Amant Field on Wednesday, March 4, at 4 p.m.
