City of Phenix City issued the following announcement on Aug 24.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, will meet in a spacial called meeting for the purpose of canvassing the election returns of the August 25, 2020 Municipal Election. Said meeting will be held at the Martin-Idle Hour Park Community Center, located at 3743 Moon Lake Drive, Phenix City, Alabama, at 12 p.m. EDT (Noon), on the 1st day of January, 2020.

Due to the possible spread of Coronavirus, the City of Phenix City is encouraging the public and media to use caution when attending the meeting in person. A face mask or other facial covering is required. However, as an alternative, you can watch by live stream on the city’s YouTube Channel.
