Football Schedule Preview: Week 9 – Kentucky State

In the final road trip of the year, the Tuskegee University football program battles Kentucky State in Frankfurt, Kentucky on Saturday, October 29 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play.

The two programs have met in 31 games all-time, with Tuskegee leading the series 20-11. Kentucky State took the first meeting between the two teams in 1907 by a score of 16-0, starting an eight-game win streak to start the series.
 
The Golden Tigers won their first game in the series in 1998 and proceeded to win 13 consecutive games until a loss in 2011. The matchup against the Thorobreds is the last road contest for Tuskegee on the year, as they wrap up the regular season in the Homecoming Game against Miles on November 5.
