Senior forward Keyshawn Hall has been named to the Lute Olsen Award Early Season Watch List by CollegeInsider.com. The award, now in its 15th year, is given each season to the top player in Division I basketball.

Hall has started his senior season with strong performances, averaging 20.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He leads the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with five double-doubles and has scored more than 20 points in seven out of ten games played this year. Hall is currently the only player in the SEC ranked among the top five for both scoring and rebounding averages.

He is shooting 47 percent from the field and has demonstrated efficiency at the free throw line, making 82 out of 92 attempts for an accuracy rate of 89.1 percent. His total number of free throw attempts ranks fourth nationally.

Hall will lead Auburn, currently ranked No. 21 with an 8-3 record, as they face their fourth Associated Press Top 10 opponent this season on Saturday night against No. 6 Purdue (10-1). The game will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time/5:30 p.m. Central Time on Peacock and NBC Sports Network.
