Premium gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.81 per gallon at two gas stations in Lee County during the week ending Apr. 25, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $4.44 per gallon.

Of the 111 reported gas stations in cities within Lee County, 39 offered premium gas.

For comparison, the average price of premium gas in Alabama was $4.58 per gallon for the week ending Apr. 25, down from the previous week.

According to an analysis by Time Magazine, fuel prices remain elevated and volatile as global oil markets react to geopolitical developments tied to the U.S. conflict with Iran, with supply concerns focused on potential disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
