Head Coach Benjy Taylor and his men’s basketball squad will continue their season in the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time since 2014 after the selection show revealed their seeding along with next contest.

The season will extend for Tuskegee, ranked the No. 7 seed in the South Region, with a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to take on No. 2 seed West Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, on Saturday March 11.

Despite falling short in the SIAC Championship earlier this week, the Golden Tigers won over 20 games for the first time in nine years, ranking among the top eight in the region throughout the year.

The matchup on Saturday will mark the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the Golden Tigers since reaching the Elite Eight in 2014.
