Bryce Dawson, a former Phenix City Central High School standout now playing for the Missouri Western Griffons, is set to take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The team enters as the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 seed St. Cloud State Huskies in its opening game.
The tournament begins for the Griffons on Saturday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m. at Lee Arena.
Auburn University will celebrate sixty-six current and former student-athletes at its 2026 Spring Commencement this weekend. The graduates represent seventeen teams across multiple sports. Their achievements include numerous conference honors for both athletics and academics.
