Demolition and Clearance Activities

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, will meet on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 9 a.m. EDT, at the Martin-Idle Hour Park Community Center, located at 3743 Moon Lake Drive to consider the demolition and/or removal of thirteen (13) substandard buildings or structures located at the following locations:

  • 116 14th Court
  • 320 12th Avenue South
  • 535 10th Avenue South
  • 611 South Railroad Street
  • 708 Williams Avenue
  • 820 16th Avenue
  • 823 1/2 13th Court
  • 902 16th Avenue
  • 911 8th Avenue
  • 913 8th Avenue
  • 1002 2nd Place South
  • 1117 23rd Court
  • 1220 8th Street

Any person, firm, or corporation having any interest in one of the above-described properties should appear before City Council at the aforementioned time and place if they have any objections as to why the removal of the substandard buildings or structures should not be accomplished by the City of Phenix City, Alabama.
