A total of 74 Auburn University student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Winter Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll, according to an announcement from the conference office on Apr. 15.

The recognition highlights academic achievement among student-athletes in basketball, equestrian, gymnastics, and swimming and diving for grades earned during the Spring, Summer, and Fall terms of 2025.

Eligibility for nomination requires participation in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or inclusion on an institution’s NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form. Equestrian led all sports at Auburn with 29 selections. Women’s swimming and diving had 16 honorees, followed by gymnastics with 12. Men’s swimming and diving accounted for 11 selections. Men’s basketball contributed four honorees while women’s basketball added two.

The list of recognized student-athletes includes Drake Cardwell, Blake Muschalek, Reed Trapp, and CJ Williams from men’s basketball; Syriah Daniels and Kaitlyn Duhon from women’s basketball; as well as representatives from equestrian such as Jill Alexander and Taylor Banks. Gymnastics honorees include Olivia Ahern and Bryn Bartman among others.

This recognition underscores both athletic commitment and academic dedication among Auburn’s student-athletes across multiple sports.
