Census Bureau: More women than men in Lee County in 2019

Of the 161,152 people living in Lee County in 2019, 50.7 percent (81,699) were women and 49.3 percent (79,453) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Auburn Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 54,754-to-53,314. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,277 females and 8,419 males.
