Golden Tigers look to end two-game slide as they host Miles on Saturday

 Tuskegee men's basketball (13-6, 8-4 SIAC) looks to rebound from a loss last weekend with a rivalry matchup against Miles (14-3, 10-2) on Saturday afternoon for a 3 p.m. tip-off inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center.

The Golden Tigers come into Saturday third in the West Division, trailing Miles by two games. They are also looking to pick up a win to end a three-game slide against the Golden Bears.
 
Veterans Devin Booker (Chicago, Ill.) and Gregg Boyd (Seat Pleasant, Md.) continue to lead the program on the year with scoring averages of 13.5 and 13.3 points respectively, while both average over two assists and over a steal per contest. Not far behind are fellow guards D'Anthony Pennington (Kansas City, Mo.) at 9.5 points and 3.1 rebounds and Steve Dulley (Kansas City, Mo.) at 8.4 pointns and. 3.9 rebounds per game.
 
Miles comes into the matchup leading the SIAC standings and are riding an eight-game win streak. The Golden Bears have proved to be a team capable of hot streaks, starting the season winning six straight before the current streak. They also hold a 5-2 record away from home, with losses at Edward Waters (Dec. 3) and Savannah State (Dec. 5) prior to Christmas break.
