U.S. Representative Mike Rogers has announced the commencement of the annual Congressional Art Competition for high school students in Alabama's 3rd Congressional District. The competition provides an opportunity for young artists to display their work at the Capitol Building for a year. This year's theme is "What My County Means to Me," and submissions will be accepted from April 1st to April 3rd.

Rep. Rogers expressed his pride in offering this platform, stating, “I’m proud to offer students from Alabama’s Third District the opportunity to compete in the annual Congressional Art Competition this Spring.” He added, “Each year, I am impressed by the tremendous talent exhibited by our local students. Visitors from around the world will get to see the winning piece hanging in the U.S. Capitol for one year."

Students interested in participating are encouraged to visit Rep. Rogers' website or contact his Oxford office for further details.
