Chambers County had two gas stations selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $3.59 per gallon during the week ending Mar. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of midgrade gas across the county was $3.75 per gallon.
GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at 12 of the 27 reported gas stations in Chambers County.
Across Alabama, the average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas rose to $3.73, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
