Auburn opened SEC baseball play with a 2-0 win over Missouri after a lengthy lighting delay cut short Jake Marciano’s outing but saw Garrett Brewer secure his third save of the season. Bub Terrell provided decisive offense with an eighth-inning home run.

Auburn’s Ja’Kobe Tharp set a world-leading mark and advanced to finals at NCAA Indoors after running one of history’s fastest times in men’s hurdles. Several other Auburn athletes also qualified for event finals.
