Public Notice: Public Hearing on Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) on July 19, 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Phenix City Police Department has made application to the Bureau of Justice for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2022 Local Formula Solicitation for the proposed purpose to purchase equipment for the Police Department.

The City of Phenix City does solicit input from the Public on the use of the funds. A PUBLIC HEARING on the matter will be conducted during the regularly scheduled council meeting set for 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Martin Idle Hour Park Community Center, located at 3743 Moon Lake Drive, Phenix City, Alabama. Those wishing to comment on the matter may appear before council at the aforementioned time and place to be heard.
