A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Tallapoosa and Chambers Counties through 830 AM CDT

At 742 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dadeville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...Valley, Lanett, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Lafayette, La Fayette, Waverly, Lakeview, Five Points, Cusseta, Denson, Amity Park, Sturkie, Trammel Crossroads, Ridge Grove, Buffalo, Chambers County Lake, Fredonia, Veasey Creek Park and Huguley.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until noon CDT for east central Alabama.
