U.S. Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama's 3rd District has issued a statement expressing his commitment to advocating for unborn children. His comments coincide with the March for Life event in Washington, DC.
"I have always and will always fight for the lives of unborn children, and I am elated to finally have an ally in this fight in the White House," said Rep. Rogers. "Today, many Alabamians will gather on the National Mall with a renewed sense of optimism in the understanding that the dark days of Roe v. Wade are behind us. It has never been clearer to me that our state deeply cares for these innocent lives. There is still work to be done, and I am excited to collaborate with my colleagues in Congress and with President Trump to be a voice for the voiceless."
Rep. Rogers' statement follows recognition from SBA Prolife, which awarded him an "A+" rating for his performance during the 118th Congress. In the current 119th Congress, he has co-sponsored the Life at Conception Act introduced today and signed a letter supporting President Trump's pro-life legislative agenda.
